CORE Borneo is a 501(c)3 organization (EIN: 47-5640773) registered in the United States of America and incorporated in the State of New Jersey.
CORE Borneo was formed to support orangutan and tropical peatland forest conservation by providing financial support for scientific research, training future scientists, providing environmental education, engaging the surrounding communities in conservation, and providing sustainable livelihoods at our research station as a sustainable alternative to forest exploitation. Our tax-exempt purposes are both educational and scientific.
CORE Borneo is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Review Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
